The HealthyYouApp will attempt to help you find what foods will be good/bad/ok for your diets.

Yes, just go to the settings (top right button of any screen) to change your diet.

If your food is not registering or you cannot find it via the manual scan in our database, then one can add food via “Not Finding a product? Add It!” button located underneath the search text box.

If your food is not being found in the data coming back, choose the closest match to what you need and HealthyYouApp will track as best as possible.

If you are suffering from a symptom not on the list provided, please let us know at support@healthyyouapp.com.

You can do this at any time once you have logged the food in our system. It is recommended that you try to log your food as you go daily though, as the HealthyYouApp will attempt to help you select foods that will fit your diet.

You can log multiple symptoms on a food. The Log Symptom button should be displayed no matter what.

This is the HealthyYouApp predictive assistant. An up (green) arrow means that this diet is in your system and good for you to take. A down (red) arrow means that this diet has either caused you or other users’ issues with your diet and is not recommended. A hyphen (orange) means that it could go either way, however, it is generally not in your diet selection, and the HealthyYouApp is unsure of the results.

We collect your account information—Name, UserName, Journal Data, and Diet Selections. As the HealthyYouApp learns more about your diet, it will attempt to help you with the particular diet(s) that you have selected and make predictive information about what food(s) you can handle

  • Anti-Inflammatory – this is mostly a fruit and vegetable diet. Foods that contain omega-3 fatty acids, whole grains, lean protein, healthy fats, and spices. Limits the number of Processed foods, red meats, and alcohol.
  • Gluten Free – this diet excludes any gluten. Gluten is a protein found in wheat, barley, rye, and triticale (a cross between wheat and rye).
  • FODMAP – this diet helps those who suffer from irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and/or small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO). This is a very restrictive diet as it eliminates a lot of foods that are problematic to assist to figure out which foods reduce symptoms.
  • Dairy Free – this diet excludes all dairy products. Dairy includes milk from all animals, as well as, and product made from milk, such as cheese, yogurt, butter, and cream.
  • Vegan – this diet does not allow anything that would come from an animal.
  • Nuts Free – (Peanuts) this diet does not contain peanut, in any capacity.
  • Paleo – (Paleolithic) this diet includes lean meats, fish, fruits, vegetables, nuts, and seeds. Otherwise known as the caveman or stone-age diet.
  • Soy Free – this diet eliminates any soybeans and foods that may contain the by-products of soybeans.
  • Sugar Free – this diet means to attempt to contain, per serving, less than 0.5 g of sugar and less than five calories.
